Questions about VitalSource codes

Does VitalSource have coupon codes?

No. VitalSource says it does not offer coupon codes because prices are set with publishers, and codes posted online will not work. Renting instead of buying, or a school course materials program, are the main ways to pay less.

Is renting cheaper than buying on VitalSource?

Usually. Rentals run 60, 90, 120 or 180 days at a lower price than a lifetime license, which gives 5 years of online access plus a permanent download.

What is the VitalSource return policy?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have viewed or printed no more than 20% of the eTextbook and have not used included access codes. Some publishers have shorter windows.

What payment methods does VitalSource accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and prepaid credit cards with a valid billing address.

Do I pay sales tax on a VitalSource eTextbook?

In the US, sales tax is added at checkout if your state taxes digital goods, based on your billing address.
