What PickedBox collects when you read a page or click a code, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect
PickedBox is a static website. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no newsletter and no forms. You can read every page without telling us who you are.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the request (your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser and the page that sent you) to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy. We do not run our own server logs; what we see is aggregate traffic counts that are not tied to a person, and the request data Cloudflare keeps for security is held for a short period and then deleted.
The code reveal
When you click Show code, the store opens in a new tab through our own address and a short-lived cookie named pb_r_ followed by the offer number is set in your browser. It holds the offer number, the time and a signature, nothing about you. The page then asks our server for that one code; the server answers only requests from pages on pickedbox.com. The cookie expires after 10 minutes.
Mail you send us
If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as we need them to answer you.
Cookies
PickedBox sets one kind of cookie of its own. There is no cookie banner because nothing here needs your consent.

If an analytics service is ever added, it will be named here with its cookies before it goes live.
Third parties
Affiliate networks
Store links on PickedBox go through our own address and then through an affiliate network to the store. The network records the click and, if you buy, tells us that a sale happened and what commission it earned. We do not see what you bought or who you are. The networks we work with are Sovrn Commerce, FlexOffers, CJ Affiliate, Awin, Rakuten Advertising, Impact, ClickBank and Amazon Associates, plus a few stores' own programs; each sets its cookies on its own domain under its own policy. Cloudflare
The site is served and protected by Cloudflare. Every request passes through Cloudflare's network, which sees the same data as our server logs and applies its own privacy policy.
Fonts
The typeface is served from pickedbox.com. No font, script or image on the site is loaded from a third-party service.
The stores
Once you leave for a store, that store's own privacy policy applies. We do not control what it collects.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the pb_r_ cookie means the page cannot show you a code after the click; the store still opens.
- The site loads no advertising or analytics script, so there is nothing to opt out of. We sell no personal data and set no tracking cookies, so a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser changes nothing; if a script is ever added, that signal will be treated as an opt-out.
- You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address below. Because there are no accounts, in most cases the answer is a copy of your own mail to us.
- The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not send notices, because we have no address to send them to.
