Gundry MD Vital Reds in 2026: price, what is in it and where it costs less
Vital Reds is a berry-flavored polyphenol powder sold by Gundry MD for $69.95 a jar at full one-time price, with the per-jar cost falling to $37.95 on a six-jar subscription in October 2026. The lowest prices sit on gundrymd.com itself, since both Amazon listings showed the product as currently unavailable when checked.

What Gundry MD Vital Reds is
Vital Reds is a powdered dietary supplement from Gundry MD, the supplement company linked to former cardiac surgeon Dr. Steven Gundry. One jar holds 30 scoops, and the directions call for one scoop a day mixed into water or another drink. A larger 60-serving jar is also on the product page.
Gundry MD describes it as "a concentrated polyphenols supplement" and markets it for energy, digestion and metabolism. Those phrases come with the standard dagger symbol that points to the FDA disclaimer, covered below. The product has been on sale since at least 2018 and is still listed as a best seller on the official site in October 2026.
Vital Reds price on gundrymd.com in October 2026
The official product page shows three price levels for the 30-serving jar: the standard one-time price, a lower one-time price for shoppers signed in to a free Gundry MD account, and the Subscribe and Save price. These are the figures seen on Oct 18, 2026, before tax.
| Option (30-serving jars) | One-time | One-time, signed in | Subscribe and Save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 jar | $69.95 | $49.95 | $44.95 every month |
| 3 jars | $188.85 | $134.85 | $119.85 every 3 months |
| 6 jars | $353.70 | $251.70 | $227.70 every 6 months |
Per jar, that runs from $69.95 down to $37.95 on the six-jar subscription, or roughly $2.33 to $1.27 a serving. The "Save 35%", "Save 42%" and "Save 45%" badges on the page compare subscription prices with the standard one-time price, not with the signed-in price.
The 60-serving jar lists at $99.95 one-time, $69.95 signed in and $62.95 on subscription. At $62.95 for 60 scoops, it works out to about $1.05 a serving, the lowest per-serving figure on the page at the time of checking.
Shipping: the site banner states free U.S. shipping on orders of $50 or more, and free U.S. shipping on all orders for signed-in account holders. Gundry MD runs site-wide sales from time to time on its /sale page, so prices can move.

Amazon, iHerb and other sellers
Two Vital Reds listings exist on Amazon: the older "Concentrated Polyphenol Blend" page and a newer "Concentrated Polyphenols Supplement, 30 Servings" page. On Oct 18, 2026, both showed "Currently unavailable" with no buy box price, so no Amazon price could be confirmed. Search snippets show a $53.95 subscribe price on the newer listing at some earlier date, but that figure could not be verified and may be out of date.
Gundry MD's own buying advice says to purchase on Amazon "only if sold by the Gundry MD Store and fulfilled by Amazon", and warns that third-party listings on Walmart, Etsy and other marketplaces may be counterfeit and do not carry the 90-day refund. A search of iHerb for Gundry MD returned no Gundry products in October 2026. Resale listings on eBay and Poshmark exist, often with expiry dates printed in the title, which is worth checking before paying.
When the Amazon listing comes back, compare the price per serving with the signed-in and subscription prices above. PickedBox keeps the current Amazon coupon codes and deal pages on its store page.
What the Supplement Facts label lists
The Supplement Facts panel on gundrymd.com lists a 3.765 g scoop with 10 calories, 2 g carbohydrate and under 1 g sugar. It is sweetened with rebaudioside A (a stevia extract). The panel groups the ingredients into three blends plus vitamins and minerals:
- Polyphenol blend, 1,760 mg: carrot, apple, grape skin extract, aronia berry, organic flax seed, grape seed extract, acai, acerola, tart cherry, beet root, black currant, blueberry, cranberry, pomegranate and a long list of other fruits, plus berberine hydrochloride.
- Metabolic enhancing blend, 365 mg: cinnamon bark extract, green and white tea leaf extracts, ginger root, turmeric root extract, bitter melon and black pepper.
- Digestive support blend: 3 billion CFU of four probiotic strains (35.5 mg) and 250 mg of fructo-oligosaccharides.
- Vitamins and minerals: eight B vitamins, including 300 mcg biotin and 6 mcg B12, plus selenium and 200 mcg chromium.
Because the blends are proprietary, the label gives a total weight for each blend but not the amount of each fruit or extract. The product page also displays a California Proposition 65 notice.
How to read the polyphenol claims
Polyphenols are plant compounds found in berries, tea, cocoa and many vegetables, and they have been studied for decades. That research does not mean a specific powder delivers a specific result. The Vital Reds page carries the standard notice: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease."
Dietary supplements do not need FDA approval before they are sold, as the FDA's dietary supplements page explains. Critics have also questioned the marketing. In a 2018 piece, McGill University's Office for Science and Society described Vital Reds as one of many vitamin, probiotic and polyphenol mixes and said such products share "a lack of compelling evidence of benefit".
Two label items deserve attention for people on medication. Berberine is listed in the polyphenol blend, and the label lists biotin, which the FDA has flagged as able to interfere with some lab tests. Anyone who is pregnant, takes prescription drugs or has a health condition should review the label with a doctor or pharmacist first.
The 90-day refund and subscription terms
Gundry MD states that every order is covered by a money-back policy for up to 90 days, and that a buyer can "send back the empty product for a full refund". Returns run through the Return Merchandise Authorization page on gundrymd.com or customer service at (800) 852-0477. The policy applies to orders from Gundry MD and, per the brand, not to unauthorized third-party sellers.
The subscription terms say the plan renews automatically until cancelled, has no purchase minimum and no early cancellation fee, and can be changed or cancelled in the account or by phone or email. The 3-jar and 6-jar subscriptions bill every three or six months, so the full amount is charged at each renewal.

What to check before buying Vital Reds
- Compare per serving, not per order. The signed-in 60-serving jar and the subscription prices beat the $69.95 one-time jar by a wide margin.
- Decide if a subscription fits. The lowest prices require auto-renewal. Put a reminder in the calendar before each renewal date.
- Check the seller. On Amazon, look for Gundry MD as the seller with Amazon fulfillment. Skip resale listings without a clear expiry date.
- Keep the jar. The refund asks for the product back, even if empty, within 90 days.
- Read the full label. Look at the berberine, biotin and probiotic listings, and talk to a doctor or pharmacist if you take medication.
Who it is for: shoppers who already want a flavored fruit-extract powder and value the 90-day refund. People looking for a measured dose of any single ingredient will not find it on this label, and a varied diet of fruit and vegetables supplies polyphenols too.
How we checked this
On Oct 18, 2026, PickedBox checked the Gundry MD Vital Reds product page for prices, the Supplement Facts panel, the FDA notice and the buying advice, along with the subscription terms and the return page. Both Amazon listings were loaded and showed the item as currently unavailable, so no Amazon price is given. An iHerb search showed no Gundry MD products. Background came from the FDA and McGill University's Office for Science and Society. No product was bought or used for this guide.
