Athlean-X programs in 2026: prices, what you get and refund rules
Athlean-X sells Jeff Cavaliere's 12-week training programs for $97 each (list price $124) and an All Axcess pass to 40+ programs for about $199 a year. Its terms say digital programs are not returnable once the files are downloaded, so the free YouTube channel is the sensible place to start.

What Athlean-X sells in October 2026
Athlean-X is the training business of Jeff Cavaliere, a physical therapist and strength coach who previously worked as head physical therapist for the New York Mets. The company behind it is Sports Performance Factory LLC in Westport, Connecticut.
The Athlean-X training page sells three kinds of products:
- Training programs. Each is a 12-week plan with workouts and a meal plan, delivered online through a members portal. The terms of use state plainly that the programs are web based and "not an app".
- All Axcess. A membership that opens every program in the library, which the site counts as 40+ programs.
- Athlean-Rx supplements and gear. Pre-workout, protein, recovery stacks, resistance bands and apparel.
The old version of this page was about the X-Cite pre-workout. That product is still sold, and its price is covered below, but most readers searching for an Athlean-X review want to know whether a program is worth paying for.
Athlean-X program prices, including AX-1
At the time of checking (Oct 18, 2026), the best-selling programs on athleanx.com all showed the same list price and sale price:
| Program | Level | Equipment | Price shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| AX-1 Training Camp | Beginner to intermediate | Minimal | $97 (list $124) |
| X-Press | Intermediate to advanced | Dumbbells, bench, bands, pull-up bar | $97 (list $124) |
| Total Beaxst | Intermediate to advanced | Commercial or well-equipped home gym | $97.75 (list $124) |
| MAX Size | Intermediate to advanced | Minimal | $97 (list $124) |
AX-1 is the entry program. The product listing describes it as a 90-day system with 3 to 5 workouts a week, sessions of 40 minutes or less, conditioning and a meal plan. X-Press is built around workouts of 30 minutes or less. Total Beaxst is the one that assumes full gym access.
A single program is a one-time purchase. The All Axcess page describes it as "lifetime access to one program" at $97 and adds "as low as $49.99", which suggests some programs or promotions go lower. No specific $49.99 program was named on the pages checked, so treat that figure as a floor that appears during promotions, not a standing price.
All Axcess: when the yearly pass makes more sense
The All Axcess page lists one year of access to every program at $16.59 a month, which works out to about $199 for the year. That is roughly the price of two single programs.
The math is simple. If you plan to run one 12-week program and stop, a single program at $97 costs less. If you expect to finish AX-1 and move on to a second or third plan within the year, All Axcess comes out ahead.
Two details from the Athlean-X terms of use are worth knowing before you join:
- New full programs are added to All Axcess at least 30 days after their initial release.
- Bonus content released as part of a launch or promotion is not included in All Axcess.
Cancellation of the recurring membership has to be requested in writing by email. The terms say future rebills stop once you cancel, and program progress is kept if you rejoin later.

Refund rules: read these before you buy
Some older reviews mention a long money-back window. The current Athlean-X terms of use do not support that. As of October 2026, they say:
- Training programs: delivered as digital products, and "no returns accepted". Refund or exchange requests must be made within 14 days of purchase, and none is issued if the files have been downloaded.
- One refund per program: if you were refunded for a program once, a second purchase of the same program will not be refunded.
- All Axcess: refund requests must be made within the first 14 days after purchase and must be sent in writing.
- Elast-X bands and apparel: returnable within 30 days in unused original condition, with return shipping paid by the buyer.
- Athlean-Rx supplements: opened containers cannot be returned. Unopened ones can be returned within 30 days.
The "XTRA MILE" promise on the site refers to coach support for questions about your program, not a cash refund. In practice, the safest approach is to pick the program carefully before downloading anything. The site has a free program selector quiz that asks about goals and equipment.

What you can get free on YouTube
The ATHLEAN-X YouTube channel had about 14.3 million subscribers and more than 1,700 videos in third-party analytics data from September and October 2026. The videos cover exercise form, single-muscle workouts, injury-related training advice and reviews of popular routines.
What the free videos do not give you is structure. A paid program lays out 12 weeks of sessions in order, with progression, rest days and a meal plan. The terms describe an "Accountability Feature" that keeps months two and three locked until 28 days have passed, so the plan is followed at its intended pace.
If you are new to training, watching the free videos for a few weeks costs nothing and shows whether the coaching style suits you. That matters more than usual here, because a downloaded program cannot be returned.
How to pay less for Athlean-X
- Buy one program first. At $97, a single program is cheaper than a year of All Axcess unless you will use more than one plan.
- Watch for promotional pricing. The All Axcess page shows single programs "as low as $49.99". Athlean-X announces promotions by email, so signing up through the site before buying is worth the extra step.
- Subscribe for supplements. The X-Cite pre-workout showed $38.99 as a one-time sale price (list $43.99) and $34.99 on a 28-day subscription with free shipping, at the time of checking.
- Compare supplement prices. Pre-workout and protein from other brands often cost less per serving. PickedBox lists current offers on the Bodybuilding.com coupon page, and the guide to protein and supplements on a budget compares cost per serving.
PickedBox does not list an Athlean-X store page with codes at the moment, so the official site is the place to check current prices.
Who an Athlean-X program is for
The programs suit people who want a fixed 12-week plan from a coach with a physical therapy background, and who are fine following it on a web portal rather than in an app. AX-1 is aimed at beginners with minimal equipment. The other best sellers are labeled intermediate to advanced.
They suit people less well if you want to try something and return it, since digital programs are final once downloaded. If you have an injury, a heart condition or another health concern, talk to a doctor or physical therapist before starting a new training plan. The site itself notes that results vary from person to person.
How we checked this
In October 2026, PickedBox read the official Athlean-X training programs page, the All Axcess page, the terms of use (refund policy, NXT and All Axcess sections) and the X-Cite product page. Prices were recorded on Oct 18, 2026. The Athlean-X support center returned an error, so refund details come from the terms of use. YouTube subscriber figures come from third-party analytics, not from YouTube. No programs or supplements were bought or used for this article.
