Sanabul Essential gloves: price by size and where they are cheapest
Sanabul Essential gel gloves sold for $17.99 to $29.99 on sanabul.com in October 2026, against a $39.99 list price, with the green 10 oz pair cheapest. Only the 10 oz and 12 oz sizes were in stock, so buyers who need 14 oz or 16 oz should look at Amazon or at similar gloves from Everlast and Venum.

Sanabul Essential gel glove prices by size and color
Sanabul sells the Essential Gel Boxing Gloves on sanabul.com with a crossed-out list price of $39.99. The sale price changes with the color and the size you pick, and on Oct 18, 2026 only the 10 oz and 12 oz sizes could be added to the cart. Prices and stock on sanabul.com at the time of checking:
| Color | 10 oz | 12 oz | 14 oz | 16 oz |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Green | $17.99 | $19.99 | Sold out | Sold out |
| Red | $18.99 | Sold out | Sold out | Sold out |
| Metallic Silver | $23.99 | Sold out | Sold out | Sold out |
| All Black | $29.99 | Sold out | Sold out | Sold out |
| Orange, Copper, Blue, Pink | Sold out | Sold out | Sold out | Sold out |
The cheapest adult pair was the green 10 oz at $17.99, less than half the $39.99 list price. Sold-out colors still show prices between $18.99 and $29.99, so a restock may come back at a similar level, but Sanabul does not publish a restock date. The product page describes the gloves as engineered leather with gel foam padding, a mesh palm and a hook and loop wrist strap.
Sanabul also sells a Youth Essential Gel glove in 8 oz for $17.99 to $19.99 (list $29.99). Older listings mention an 8 oz adult size, but the adult page offered 10 to 16 oz only at the time of checking.

Which Essential glove size Sanabul suggests
Boxing gloves are sized by weight in ounces, not by hand length. The size chart on the Essential product page links glove weight to body weight:
| Glove weight | Sanabul's suggested body weight |
|---|---|
| 8 to 10 oz | Under 100 lbs (common for children) |
| 10 to 12 oz | 100 to 125 lbs |
| 12 to 14 oz | 125 to 150 lbs |
| 14 to 16 oz | 150 to 180 lbs |
| 16 oz | Over 180 lbs |
This creates a problem in October 2026. Anyone over about 150 lbs would normally look at the 14 oz or 16 oz pair, and both were sold out in every color on sanabul.com. Many gyms also set their own rules for sparring, often asking for 16 oz gloves, so check with your coach or gym before buying a lighter pair to save a few dollars. A heavier glove is not a mistake for bag work; a glove that is too light for sparring can be.

Where the Essential gloves cost less: Sanabul, Amazon and Walmart
Sanabul's own store was the only seller with a confirmed price at the time of checking. Sanabul gives free standard shipping on orders over $50, which a single $17.99 to $29.99 pair does not reach. Adding a pair of Essential Gel Quick Hand Wraps ($7.99 to $11.99) still falls short, so expect to pay shipping on a gloves-only order unless you add more gear. Sanabul also has a Warehouse Deals section, which listed the Essential gloves, the CORE Series gloves and the Youth Essential gloves on Oct 18, 2026.
The gloves are sold on Amazon under the listing B01D2J437G, which shows more than 25,000 ratings according to retailer data seen in search results. Amazon did not return a price to automated requests in October 2026, so no Amazon price is quoted here. Stock on Amazon is managed separately from sanabul.com, so it is worth checking there for a 14 oz or 16 oz pair before switching brands. For Amazon savings in general, see the Amazon coupon page. Prime Big Deal Days ran on October 6 and 7 in 2026, and Black Friday week is the next large Amazon sale.
Walmart also has a Sanabul Essential listing, but the page blocked automated access, so its price and seller were not confirmed. Used pairs on eBay showed up in search results at around $12 plus shipping, though gloves absorb sweat and wear out at the knuckle, so a used pair is a gamble.
Alternatives to the Sanabul Essential if your size is gone
If the 14 oz or 16 oz Essential is unavailable, these gloves were in stock on the makers' own sites on Oct 18, 2026:
| Glove | Sizes in stock | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Sanabul CORE Series Gel Boxing Gloves | Mostly 10 oz and 8 oz | $27.99 to $39.99 |
| Sanabul Funk Strike Gel Boxing Gloves | 10, 12 and 14 oz in some colors | $34.99 |
| RDX S4 Leather Sparring Boxing Gloves | See rdxsports.com | $32.99 |
| Everlast Prostyle 2 Boxing Gloves | 8, 12, 14 and 16 oz | $44.99 |
| Venum Contender 1.5 Boxing Gloves | 10 to 16 oz | $44.99 to $49.99 |
The Funk Strike is the closest step up from Sanabul itself and was the only Sanabul adult glove with a 14 oz option in stock. For a 16 oz pair, the Everlast Prostyle 2 and the Venum Contender 1.5 were both available, at about $15 to $20 more than the Essential's highest sale price. Sizes and stock on these sites change fast, so check the size you need before comparing prices.
Sanabul returns if the size is wrong
Sanabul's refund policy allows returns within 30 days of purchase for store credit or a refund to the original payment method, minus shipping costs. Gloves must be unworn, unused, unwashed and in the original tags and packaging. Items that do not meet those conditions carry a 20% restocking fee. If Sanabul sent the wrong size or color, it refunds the full cost including shipping. Returns start in a self-service portal with your order number and email.
The policy also says that gear bought from a third-party retailer must be returned to that retailer, so an Amazon or Walmart purchase follows Amazon or Walmart rules. Sanabul covers manufacturing defects for 30 days and asks owners outside that window to email customer service with photos.
Who the Essential gloves suit
The Essential is Sanabul's entry-level glove, and the product page tags it as such. It fits people starting fitness boxing or kickboxing classes who want a hook and loop glove they can put on without a partner, and who do not want to spend $45 or more before they know they will stick with the sport. At $17.99 to $19.99 in green, the 10 oz and 12 oz sizes are among the cheapest new adult gloves from a known combat sports brand found during this check.
Heavier adults and anyone planning to spar should match the size chart first and price second. Paying about $45 for an in-stock 16 oz pair from Everlast or Venum makes more sense than buying a 12 oz Essential that does not suit the gym's rules.
How we checked this
On Oct 18, 2026, PickedBox read the Sanabul Essential Gel Boxing Gloves page for prices, sizes, stock by color and the size chart, the Sanabul refund policy, and the Sanabul Warehouse Deals section. Alternative glove prices come from the Everlast, Venum, RDX and Sanabul product pages on the same date. Amazon and Walmart blocked automated requests, so no price from those stores is quoted; the Amazon rating count comes from retailer data seen in search results. No gloves were bought or worn for this guide.
