DiaResQ in 2026: price, where it is sold and what the label says

DiaResQ is still sold in October 2026, made by PanTheryx and labeled a food for special dietary use, not a drug. A 3-packet box was listed from about $6.69 to $12.60 depending on version and store, and multi-packs on Amazon and Walmart bring the price per packet down.

What DiaResQ is and who makes it

DiaResQ is a vanilla-flavored powder sold in single-serve packets that you mix with water and drink. It is made by PanTheryx, a company in Boulder, Colorado that calls itself "The Colostrum Company" and also sells the Relesium and Life's First Naturals brands.

The PanTheryx DiaResQ page, checked in October 2026, describes it as a Food for Special Dietary Use made with the company's own colostrum ingredient, ColostrumOne, that "provides beneficial nutrients for people with diarrhea." The same site carries the standard note that its statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.

That category matters. A food for special dietary use is regulated under 21 CFR Part 105, the federal rules for foods meant to meet particular dietary needs. It is not an over-the-counter drug like loperamide or bismuth subsalicylate, and it does not go through drug approval. It usually sits in the digestive health aisle next to those drugs, which is why shoppers often compare them.

The three DiaResQ versions on shelves

Retail listings in October 2026 show three versions, each sold in boxes of three packets with a mixing cup:

  • Adult's Rapid Recovery. The adult version, sold at drugstores, grocery chains and travel health clinics.
  • Children's Soothing Relief. Labeled for children 1 year and older. Pharmacy listings say it is not intended for infants or for chronic diarrhea.
  • Toddler's (friendly dosing). A version Walmart lists as a toddler's drink mix, also in a 3-pack.

Outside the US, PanTheryx licensed DiaResQ to Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 2015 for India and Nepal, according to Business Standard. That does not change anything for US buyers, but it explains why some foreign listings show a different brand name.

What the label lists

Labels and retailer listings agree on the main points. The details below come from the Passport Health and pharmacy product pages checked in October 2026 and from older label text.

  • Main ingredients. Bovine (cow) colostrum and egg solids. Older label text also lists silicon dioxide, sucralose and, on the adult version, vanilla flavor.
  • Allergens. The label states it contains egg and milk. Anyone with an egg or milk allergy should not use it.
  • Protein. Passport Health lists four grams of protein per packet. One other retailer lists three grams, so check the box you buy.
  • Gluten. Listed as gluten-free.
  • Directions on the adult box. Fill the enclosed cup with water to the 30 ml line, add one packet, shake and drink the whole cup at the first sign of diarrhea. Additional packets as needed, up to three per day.
  • Children's directions. A pharmacy listing for the children's box gives one packet per day until the episode ends, usually over three days.
  • Warnings. If diarrhea persists, seek medical attention. If pregnant or nursing, consult a medical professional before use.

Marketing copy calls the product fast acting and drug-free. Those are the maker's words. PickedBox does not repeat outcome claims for health products, and the label, not this page, is the guide for use.

Three steps from the adult label: fill the cup with water to the 30 ml line, add one packet, shake and drink; more packets as needed, up to three per day.

DiaResQ price in October 2026

PanTheryx does not publish a list price. The figures below are store prices seen in October 2026, from the store page itself where it loaded and from search-indexed listings where the store blocked direct access. Prices move often, so treat them as a range.

H-E-B, children's 3-count$7.68$2.56

Amazon, 7 boxes (21 packets)$51.93about $2.47

Several Walmart and Amazon listings are from third-party sellers, which is why the same box can show two or three prices on one page.

Bar chart of price per packet: Pasteur $2.23, Amazon 21-pack $2.47, H-E-B $2.56, Walmart toddler $2.99, adult 6-pack $3.22, adult $3.33, children's $4.20.

Where DiaResQ is sold

DiaResQ is easiest to find online. In October 2026 it was listed on Walmart's DiaResQ brand page, on Amazon, on Albertsons group grocery sites such as Safeway and Randalls, at H-E-B, at local pharmacies and at Passport Health, a chain of travel health clinics that also sells it in a travelers' diarrhea kit.

Earlier launch coverage named Kinney Drugs, Bartell Drugs, Meijer and Target among its retailers. Shelf stock at big drugstore chains varies by store. CVS and Walgreens did not return a DiaResQ listing to PickedBox in October 2026 because both sites blocked automated checks, so call your local store or check its app before making a trip.

How to pay less for DiaResQ

  • Compare per packet, not per box. A single 3-packet box ranged from about $2.23 to $4.20 a packet in the prices above. The cheapest per packet were a pharmacy children's box and the Amazon 21-packet bundle.
  • Buy the version you need. The children's box is sometimes cheaper than the adult box. The label sets its own directions and age range, so do not swap versions to save money without reading both labels or asking a pharmacist.
  • Check the seller. On Amazon and Walmart, choose listings sold by the retailer or a named pharmacy and check the expiration date in the listing or on arrival.
  • Use store offers. PickedBox lists current offers on the Amazon coupon page and the Walmart coupon page. Pharmacy loyalty programs and HSA or FSA cards may also apply, depending on the store's eligibility rules for this product.

Who it is for and when to call a doctor

DiaResQ is aimed at adults and children over 1 year with short-term diarrhea, and it is popular with travelers because the packets are small and do not need refrigeration. It is not meant for chronic diarrhea, for infants 12 months or younger, or for anyone allergic to egg or milk.

Diarrhea that lasts more than a couple of days, comes with blood, a high fever or signs of dehydration, or affects a baby is a reason to call a doctor, and a pharmacist can help you choose between DiaResQ and other options. Drinking enough fluids matters whatever product you pick.

How we checked this

In October 2026, PickedBox checked the PanTheryx DiaResQ page and the PanTheryx home page, the Passport Health DiaResQ listing and a Pasteur Pharmacy listing (prices seen Oct 18, 2026), the federal rules for foods for special dietary use in 21 CFR Part 105, and 2015 coverage of the Dr. Reddy's licensing deal. Walmart, Amazon, CVS and Walgreens blocked direct access, so their prices come from search-indexed listings seen in October 2026. The former brand site, diaresq.com, did not load. No DiaResQ product was bought or used for this article.
