Mint Mobile plan prices by term

Mint sells four plans, 6GB, 17GB, 23GB and Unlimited, and you pay for the whole term upfront. There is no month-to-month option. The prices below are the regular rates reported in October 2026 by plan trackers and Droid Life, because mintmobile.com blocked automated checks.

Plan3 months6 months12 months12 months paid upfront
6GB$25/mo$20/mo$15/mo$180
17GB$35/mo$25/mo$20/mo$240
23GB$45/monot confirmed$25/mo$300
Unlimited$40/mo$35/mo$30/mo$360

Taxes and fees are added on top. The 3-month term costs up to 80% more per month than the 12-month term on the same plan, so term length matters as much as the data amount. A $15 a month offer on every plan and term ended on Sept 30, 2026, according to ShopCellPlans.

The $10 a month anniversary deal, through Oct 22, 2026

Mint turned 10 in October 2026. In a press release dated Oct 8, 2026, T-Mobile announced that new customers can get six months of any Mint plan, Unlimited included, for $10 a month. The fine print sets these terms:

  • Upfront payment: $60 for the six months.
  • New customers only: the price applies to the first six months, then full price plans apply.
  • Taxes and fees: extra.
  • End date: deal coverage puts the end at midnight on Thursday, Oct 22, 2026.

On Unlimited, $60 for six months compares with $210 at the regular 6-month rate of $35 a month. After the deal, the cheapest renewal is the 12-month term.

Who owns Mint Mobile and which network it uses

T-Mobile owns Mint. It completed its purchase of Ka'ena Corporation, the parent of Mint Mobile, Ultra Mobile and the wholesaler Plum, on May 1, 2024, according to Android Central and Tom's Guide. The deal was announced in March 2023 at an estimated $1.35 billion. Mint co-founders David Glickman and Rizwan Kassim stayed with the brand, and T-Mobile committed to keeping a $15 a month Mint plan for new and existing customers.

Mint runs on T-Mobile's 5G and 4G LTE network. In its October 2026 release, Mint's general manager said the company had not raised plan rates for its customers in ten years.

What every Mint plan includes

  • Unlimited talk and text.
  • Mobile hotspot, up to 20GB on Unlimited.
  • Wi-Fi Calling and Scam Screener.
  • Free calling to Mexico, Canada and the UK, and free texting to more than 190 countries and destinations.
  • Roaming in Canada with unlimited talk and text plus 3GB of high-speed data.
  • eSIM setup in the Mint app, plus a physical SIM option.

On Unlimited, data use above 50GB in a month may slow when the network is busy, per Mint's terms in the anniversary release. Mint is online only, with no stores, and support runs through chat and phone.

Mint's trial kit and 7-day money-back guarantee

There are two ways to try Mint before committing to a long term.

  • See for Yourself Kit: Mint's trial plan terms describe a trial with 250 minutes, 250 texts and 250MB of data, to be activated within 45 days of receiving the SIM or eSIM. Extra trial plans cost $5 at participating third-party sellers, and Mint says the $5 is credited back when you upgrade the trial to a full plan in the app. The current kit price on mintmobile.com could not be confirmed.
  • 7-day money-back guarantee: Mint's help page says full plans and kits bought on mintmobile.com or in the app can be cancelled within 7 days of activation for a full refund of the price, taxes and fees, but not shipping. Unused SIM cards can be returned within 10 days of purchase if unopened and not activated.

Purchases from retail stores and other websites are not covered by the SIM return rule, so buy from Mint directly if a refund matters to you.

Mint Mobile vs Visible vs US Mobile

Visible runs on Verizon, US Mobile sells plans on more than one network, and both bill monthly with taxes and fees included. Mint adds taxes on top.

Visible$25/mo; Visible+ $35/mo; Visible+ Pro $45/moMonthly, taxes included
US Mobile Unlimited Starter$25/mo monthly or $22.50/mo on an annual planMonthly or annual, taxes included
US Mobile Unlimited Premium$44/mo monthly or $32.50/mo on an annual planMonthly or annual, taxes included

Visible prices were read on visible.com on Oct 18, 2026, where Visible also advertised $5 a month off Visible+ and Visible+ Pro for five years with a code. US Mobile figures come from US Mobile's own August 2026 plan guide. For a light user, Mint's 6GB plan at $15 a month on 12 months is cheaper than any unlimited plan here. For a heavy user who does not want to prepay a year, Visible's base plan is the lower monthly cost. Visible codes are on the PickedBox Visible store page.

The cheapest way to start with Mint

  1. Check that your phone works on Mint with the trial kit, or buy directly from Mint so the 7-day refund applies.
  2. If you are new to Mint and sign up by Oct 22, 2026, the $60 six-month deal is the lowest price for any plan.
  3. After that, prepay 12 months. A 3-month term costs $10 to $20 more per month.
  4. Pick the data you use. If you are on Wi-Fi most of the day, check your current monthly data use first; the 6GB and 17GB plans cost $15 or $20 a month on 12 months.
  5. Set a reminder before renewal, because promo prices end after the first term and the plan renews at the regular rate.

PickedBox does not have a Mint Mobile store page at the time of checking, so no Mint codes are listed here.

How we checked this

Mintmobile.com returned an access error to automated requests on Oct 18, 2026, so Mint prices come from Droid Life's Oct 8, 2026 deal report and ShopCellPlans' Mint plan table, read in October 2026. The anniversary deal terms come from the T-Mobile and Mint press release published Oct 8, 2026 on Yahoo Finance. Trial kit and refund terms come from search engine copies of Mint's trial terms and help pages. Ownership details come from Android Central and Tom's Guide coverage of the May 2024 closing. Visible prices were read on visible.com on Oct 18, 2026, and US Mobile prices come from US Mobile's August 2026 blog. No phone service was used for this page.
