SaleHoo in 2026: pricing, the 60-day refund and whether it is worth it

What SaleHoo is and what it is not

SaleHoo is a New Zealand company, trading since 2005, that sells access to a directory of wholesale suppliers, dropshippers and manufacturers. It does not sell products itself. A member searches the directory, contacts a supplier and then deals with that supplier directly on prices, minimum orders and shipping.

On its pricing page, SaleHoo says the directory holds more than 8,000 suppliers that it checks by hand, plus a product research tool, a Shopify import tool, training courses and a member community it puts at 137,000 people. These are the company's own figures. The directory works with any sales channel, according to SaleHoo, with one-click import only for Shopify and CSV export for other platforms such as WooCommerce, eBay or Amazon.

Membership does not include stock, a store or any promise of sales. Profit depends on the products chosen, the selling platform's fees, advertising costs and competition from other sellers using the same suppliers.

SaleHoo pricing in October 2026

SaleHoo now sells three plans. Prices from the pricing page on Oct 18, 2026:

The pricing page did not show a month-to-month option at the time of checking, so the lowest upfront cost is the $108 Starter year. For comparison, the plain directory membership cost $67 a year when this post was first written in 2022, so the entry price has risen.

The one-time Starter payment of $299 equals a little under three years of the yearly plan. It only pays off for someone sure they will keep using the directory past year three.

How the 60-day refund works

SaleHoo's pricing page states a 60-day money-back promise: a member who is not satisfied can contact support within 60 days of signing up for a full refund. The FAQ adds that a subscription can be cancelled at any time by email to support or through live chat, with 48 hours' notice asked before the renewal date.

Payment goes through ClickBank, a third-party processor, according to the SaleHoo signup page and its terms. ClickBank's help center describes a standard 60-day return window on products it processes. Two points from ClickBank's rules are worth knowing:

• Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not refund past ones. A refund has to be asked for separately.
• Asking for a refund on a subscription also cancels its future payments.

In practice, the safest way to try SaleHoo is to pay for the Starter year, mark the 60-day date in a calendar, and request the refund through SaleHoo support or ClickBank before then if the directory is not useful.

Is SaleHoo worth it

SaleHoo is a real, long-running service and the refund terms are clear, so the question is whether it saves enough time to justify $108 or more a year. Points to weigh:

• What it does well. A vetted list saves time sorting out which suppliers are real businesses, which is the main risk when sourcing from unknown wholesalers. Supplier pages show contact details, so there is no lock-in to SaleHoo's platform.
• The limits. Starter caps supplier contacts at 100 and product imports at 200 a month and connects only one Shopify store. Sellers on other platforms get CSV export rather than direct import.
• Competition. A shared directory means other members can find the same suppliers and products. A directory is a starting list, not a source of unique stock.
• Costs outside SaleHoo. Store subscriptions, marketplace fees, payment fees, advertising and returns usually cost more than the directory itself. SaleHoo's own profit calculator can help estimate these before ordering.

For a new seller who has not picked a product yet, free resources can answer a lot of questions first. For someone ready to source physical stock and short on time, the Starter year with the refund window is a reasonable trial.

SaleHoo alternatives, free and paid

• Wholesale Central. A US wholesale directory running since 1997 that offers buyers a free account, according to its website. It is less curated, so more checking falls on the buyer.
• Worldwide Brands. A directory of certified US wholesalers and dropshippers sold as a one-time lifetime membership, according to its website. The price was not shown on the home page at the time of checking.
• Spocket. A dropshipping app with a product catalog that plugs into store platforms. Its pricing page lists plans from $39.99 a month, lower per-month rates on yearly billing, and a 7-day free trial.
• Platform tools. Shopify's app store and marketplace seller programs include supplier and dropshipping apps, some with free tiers. The Shopify store page lists current Shopify offers.
• Trade shows and direct contact. Many brands list wholesale contacts on their own sites. This costs time rather than a subscription.

How to pay less for SaleHoo

1. Start on Starter, not Pro. Pro costs more than five times as much per year. Move up only if the 100 contacts or 200 imports a month become a real limit.
2. Avoid the one-time payment at first. The $299 lifetime Starter price beats the yearly plan only after almost three years. Paying yearly keeps the first outlay at $108 and the refund window applies either way.
3. Use the refund window on purpose. Plan the first 60 days around finding suppliers, so there is time to decide before the deadline.
4. Check the PickedBox store page before signing up. PickedBox lists 1 SaleHoo deal on the SaleHoo store page. No code is needed, and the price shows on the SaleHoo site. It is shown below.
5. Watch the renewal date. Cancel at least 48 hours before renewal if the directory is no longer in use, as SaleHoo's FAQ asks.

Who SaleHoo is for

SaleHoo fits a seller who wants a checked list of physical-goods suppliers, plans to contact a handful of them each month, and sells on Shopify or is comfortable working from CSV files on another platform. It is less useful for someone still testing whether online selling suits them, since free directories and platform apps can cover the first steps at no cost. Nothing about the membership promises income. Anyone setting up a business should also check local rules on sales tax, business registration and product safety, and ask an accountant about the tax side.
